The eighth annual Englefield Run
Sunday 27th August 2017.
The multi-terrain 10k course, in the beautiful setting of Englefield Estate near Theale, is now a major event in the running calendar. Well over 300 registered to run last year.
It is also offers a family day out with a 3.5k course for under-15s and a family "Treasue Hunt" walk round the park whilst the races are on so everyone can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The private estate is opened for the event by kind permission of the Benyon family.
Organised by The Rotary Club of Reading Abbey and Tadley Runners, 100% of the money raised goes to charity.

Help for the homeless in Reading
The Rotary Club of Reading Abbey recognises that homelessness in Reading has soared by 700% in the last three years and is proud to be supporting CIRDIC with the 2017 Englefield 10k
Based in the centre of Reading, CIRDIC is recognized as a safe and welcoming drop in centre to many homeless people who are disadvantaged and living in the local community.
CIRDIC help any adult who comes in. CIRDIC is now recognised as the only Centre in Reading that offers a truly open door and free service
